YellowSquare is looking for an Activity Host!
YellowSquare is looking for an energetic, charismatic, and outgoing Activity Host, responsible for bringing our events to life and creating unforgettable moments for our guests. This role is all about being the heartbeat of the hostel — making sure our travelers connect, have fun, and feel part of the YellowSquare community.
What you’ll do:
Organizing and leading social activities: quiz nights, karaoke, tournaments, and mini-challenges;
Creating opportunities for guests to meet, connect, and socialize;
Proposing and co-designing new daytime and evening event formats;
Hosting with a microphone, presenting confidently, and engaging diverse international crowds;
Cooperating with the bar and reception team to ensure events run smoothly;
“Working the room” to ensure every guest feels included and welcomed.
What you’ll bring:
High energy, a positive attitude, and a hands-on approach;
Strong communication skills and the ability to host events with confidence;
A friendly, welcoming personality, comfortable interacting with people from all over the world;
Fluency in spoken English (Italian and other languages are a big plus);
Reliability, punctuality, and the ability to manage a crowd;
Flexibility with working hours, specifically for evening and weekend events.
