YellowSquare Rome is looking for two Square Deputies (Hostel/Hotel Supervisor). You’ll be the right hand of our Square Lover, acting as the operational heartbeat of the hostel and overseeing the team to ensure the YellowSquare vibe stays alive.

What you’ll be doing:

• Supporting the Square Lover by working closely with the Reception/Bar team and overseeing Kitchen, Housekeeping, and Maintenance;

• Being a daily point of reference for the team — ensuring tasks are clear, spirits are high, and operations run smoothly;

• Monitoring service standards, helping resolve guest issues, and keeping the Square vibe consistent;

• Coordinating shifts, schedules, and workflows to keep everything moving across different departments;

• Assisting with admin tasks, reporting, inventory, and ensuring full compliance with Italian local regulations.

What you should have:

• 5+ years of experience in hospitality, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or assistant manager role;

• Strong leadership skills: the ability to coordinate and communicate effectively with a diverse team;

• A people-first mindset with a strong eye for guest experience and team wellbeing;

• A knack for problem-solving and the ability to stay cool under pressure;

• High proficiency in spoken English and Italian;

• Confidence with digital tools, booking systems, and hospitality tech (previous hostel experience is a big bonus!).
