Maintenance & Housekeeping Supervisor

Yellowsquare Athens is looking for a Facility Deputy!

Are you reliable, organized, and excited to take on a leadership role in a dynamic and international environment?

You’ll be responsible for keeping our hostel efficient, safe, and welcoming for both guests and staff, coordinating the Housekeeping and Maintenance teams in line with Yellowsquare’s values.

What you’ll do:

• Coordinate Teams: Supervise the Housekeeping and Maintenance departments, promoting collaboration and service quality;

• Scheduling: Plan and manage staff shifts, ensuring operational coverage while balancing service needs and staff well-being;

• Procedures: Define, update, and enforce standard operating procedures for cleaning, maintenance, and safety;

• Orders and Supplies: Monitor material and equipment needs, placing orders efficiently and sustainably according to company policies;

• Auditing & Quality Control: Conduct regular inspections to ensure high standards, report issues, and implement corrective actions;

• Innovation & Improvement: Collaborate with the Square Lover to propose improvements, innovations, and preventive maintenance plans;

• Budget & Resources: Help monitor costs, optimize resources, and reduce waste;

• Safety: Ensure compliance with local regulations on safety, health, and hygiene.

What we’re looking for:

• Previous experience in facility management, housekeeping or maintenance supervision (hospitality background preferred);

• Good level of English (you’ll be in daily contact with international staff and guests);

• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills;

• A hands-on approach: reliable, proactive, and able to work independently;

• A positive attitude and team spirit – we love people who bring good vibes.
