YellowSquare is looking for a reliable, professional, and proactive Night Porter - Receptionist for our Rome hostel. This role is the heartbeat of our nights: you’ll be the go-to person for our guests when the sun goes down, balancing administrative precision with a watchful eye on the hostel’s safety.

What you’ll do:

• Dealing with bookings and managing the front desk during the night shift;

• Completing smooth Check-in and Check-out procedures;

• Preparing bills, taking payments, and ensuring financial accuracy;

• Patrol and secure hallways, common areas, and entrances to maintain a safe environment;

• Handling guest complaints or technical problems with a problem-solving mindset;

• Acting as the first point of contact for any emergencies during the night.

What you’ll bring:

• At least 2 years of experience in a similar role (hospitality or front desk);

• Excellence in customer service: you know how to make a guest feel at home;

• Ability to stay calm and professional in a fast-paced or unexpected situation;

• High proficiency in spoken and written English (any other language is a big plus!);

• Flexibility with night shifts and working hours;

• A true team spirit and the ability to collaborate across departments.
